AMATEUR FLESH: NORA🌸2026

While looking for amateur content for today's update, I found myself thinking about something that fits pretty well with what the Internet really is.

We often talk about the Internet as if it were either good or bad. As if it were somehow responsible for everything we find on it. But the more time I spend online, the more convinced I am that the Internet is nothing more than a reflection of ourselves. Of our virtues and our flaws. Of the things that make us proud as a society and the things we'd rather sweep under the rug.

The difference is that, outside the Internet, all of that is usually spread out. In real life, you can go weeks without running into certain people, ideas, or situations. Online, on the other hand, you can jump from something wonderful to absolute garbage with a single click. And sometimes that's a little unsettling.

Because we tend to think there are good people and bad people, when reality is usually far more complicated.

We all live with contradictions. We all have light and shadow. We're all capable of doing admirable things and acting like complete idiots depending on the moment, the circumstances, or who's judging us.
No matter how good a person thinks they are, they'll always be the asshole in someone else's story. Or even the villain.

I've never watched a full episode of Naked Attraction, but if someone guaranteed me that all the contestants were on Julia’s level, from the Italian version of the show, I can tell you right now I'd watch every single episode from start to finish without blinking.

Because one thing is randomly channel surfing, and something very different is suddenly finding a genuinely good reason to stay until the credits roll.

VACATION VOL4

For some people, vacation means adventure. Packing a suitcase, catching a flight, and discovering new places. Getting lost in unfamiliar streets, trying food they can't pronounce, and coming back home with a phone full of photos and the feeling that they actually lived something different.

For others, though, vacation means the exact opposite. They don't want schedules, airports, excursions, or miles to walk. All they want is to wake up without an alarm, put on something comfortable, and let the days go by with no greater responsibility than deciding what series to watch next.
Some people need to move to disconnect. Others need to stay still.

And the funny thing is that both groups usually think the other one is wasting their vacation. Travelers don't understand how someone can have two weeks off and spend them at home. People looking for rest don't understand why anyone would spend time, money, and energy just to come back more tired than they were before leaving.

But the truth is that vacations shouldn't be about doing what everyone else does. They should be about doing whatever helps you recharge your batteries. Whether that means traveling halfway around the world or only covering the distance between the bed and the couch.
Because in the end, resting doesn't always mean doing fewer things. Sometimes it means doing exactly what you feel like doing. And nothing else. That's where the real freedom is.
