LES PETITS REGARDS. PART 2

Yesterday, we discovered the work of Les Petits Regards, the French photographer who has made intimacy and the female nude the centerpiece of a delicate, sensual, and deeply personal body of work.

In his photographs, the models never seem to be simply posing for the camera. They rest, observe, hide beneath the sheets, or allow the light to travel across their bodies while Anthony captures that fragile line between feeling observed and completely forgetting that someone is watching.

His photography proves that eroticism doesn’t need elaborate settings or impossible poses. Sometimes, all it takes is a quiet room, an open window, a naked body, and a camera that knows how to wait for the right moment.

As promised, today we’re sharing the rest of the photographs we had saved for later. Part two of Les Petits Regards, because some sessions deserve to be enjoyed without rushing… and because keeping all these photos to ourselves would have been rather selfish.

Yesterday, we shared a first selection of Alexis Paoleschi’s work, but we already warned you that we’d left plenty of photographs out. Not because they were any less interesting, but because his archive had far too much great material to squeeze it all into a single post.

In this second part, we once again come across his distinctive way of photographing the body: clean compositions, minimal settings, and a use of light that allows a back, a curve, or a simple silhouette to have more impact than a completely explicit image.

Paoleschi doesn’t need to fill the scene with objects or rely on elaborate tricks. All he needs is a body, a light source, and the trust of the person in front of his camera to create images that move between intimacy, sensuality, and fine-art photography.

WHITEPLACE_1. PART 2

Yesterday we began exploring the work of Whiteplace_1 (白寺), a mysterious independent Chinese photographer who uses the body, fetishism and BDSM aesthetics as tools to construct his distinctive visual fantasies.

In his photographs, the model rarely appears as someone simply posing naked in front of the camera. Every gesture, pose and accessory seems to form part of a carefully staged performance. The body becomes character, setting and language all at once.

The tension of the ropes, the anonymity of a mask and the apparent discomfort of certain positions aren’t there merely to provoke. They also create contrast, introduce an element of mystery and encourage the viewer to imagine what might be happening both inside and beyond the frame.

It is precisely this interplay between beauty, vulnerability and domination that gives his work its identity. His photography can feel sensual, unsettling or hypnotic, depending on how long you decide to keep looking.

THE NUDE ART OF ALEXIS PAOLESCHI. PART 1

Alexis Paoleschi is a French photographer specializing in Nude Art, known for a style that combines elegance, minimalism, and a deep sensitivity toward the human figure.

In his work, the body isn’t presented simply as something to be admired, but as an expressive element that changes completely depending on the light, shadows, framing, and the space surrounding it. Sometimes he reveals; other times, he merely suggests. And that’s precisely where his photographs find their strength.

His work is also built on trust and respect for the person being photographed. That connection allows him to move away from rigid poses and create images that feel much more natural, intimate, and expressive.

Narrowing down the photographs for this post wasn’t easy because we had so many, and every one of them deserved to be shared. So instead of leaving a bunch of them out, we decided to divide Paoleschi’s work into two parts.

LINGERIE SPECIAL #18

The last installment of our beloved lingerie series was volume 17, published back in December of last year. Nearly nine months have passed since then. That might mean absolutely nothing to you, but I find it pretty interesting.

Throughout all this time, we've published new content every day, Monday through Friday, hardly ever missing our usual appointment. Photos, videos, amateurs, artists, technology, wipeouts, tits, curiosities, and all kinds of material that have made their way onto the front page.

The surprising thing is that, during all these months, we haven't published a single post dedicated exclusively to lingerie. And yet, not once have I looked at the pending folder and thought, “Holy shit, I have nothing to post tomorrow.”

Quite the opposite, in fact. So much varied content has kept coming in that one of the site's longest-running series has spent nine months forgotten in a drawer without anyone having to declare a national emergency.

But nine months is already far too long, especially when we're talking about lace, sheer fabric, garter belts, and the kind of underwear designed to stay on for considerably less time than it takes to choose it.

THE APPEAL OF FRECKLES

There are features that people traditionally tried to hide but that, over time, have ended up becoming precisely what makes a face attractive. Freckles are probably one of the best examples.

For years, the beauty industry got us used to faces with completely uniform skin: the same tone, the same texture, not a blemish, not a mark, practically no sign that there was an actual human being underneath all that makeup. And the funny thing is that when freckles appear scattered across the nose and cheeks, the exact opposite of what you might expect happens: instead of seeing them as an imperfection, a lot of people feel they actually make a face more attractive.





Maybe it’s precisely because they break up that uniformity. Freckles add little points of contrast, make your eyes wander across the face, and can especially highlight the eyes, cheekbones, or nose. They’re a kind of natural pattern that can make a face more recognizable and give it more personality.

There’s also that sense of naturalness. Freckles remind us that real skin isn’t a perfectly smooth surface created by a computer. It has pigmentation, pores, subtle differences in tone, and characteristics of its own. And very often, those little irregularities are exactly what make two equally beautiful faces feel completely different in terms of how interesting we find them.

In fact, in recent years we’ve reached the curious point where some people draw freckles on with makeup or turn to semi-permanent treatments to get something that others spent a good part of their lives trying to hide. The supposed imperfection has become a desirable feature.

And then there’s the part that’s impossible to measure. Attraction doesn’t work according to some mathematical chart where a pair of lips adds two points, a nose subtracts one, and twenty freckles add another three. Some features simply trigger something in the person looking at them.

That’s what happens to me with freckles. Especially when they’re concentrated around the nose and beneath the eyes. I’m not entirely sure why, but far from making a face look messy or taking away from its beauty, I think they give it character, naturalness, and an especially attractive touch.

In the end, maybe part of beauty lies precisely there: in those little characteristics that stop a perfect face from also becoming a completely forgettable one.

Because sometimes an imperfection doesn’t take anything away. It’s exactly what was needed to add something more.
