The last time we dedicated a post to Simon Bolz was back in 2022. Since then, the German photographer has continued working, releasing new shoots and expanding a body of work that, by now, has a perfectly recognizable style.

For his return to ALRNCN, we’ve selected some of the photographs he has published since 2023. Images in which he once again combines nudity, female beauty, and meticulous art direction, paying just as much attention to the model as he does to the lighting, framing, and setting around her.

Because in Bolz’s work, nudity never appears in isolation. Every location, every shadow, and every element of the composition helps create an atmosphere that turns each photograph into something more than just an attractive body in front of a camera.

TCHOOZE’S NUDES

TchoozePix is the pseudonym of a photographer specializing in boudoir photography and artistic nudes. His images, published mainly through Patreon and other social media platforms, combine natural locations and indoor settings to create elegant, intimate compositions.

Although he keeps his personal life private and very little is known about his background, TchoozePix has built a distinctive and instantly recognizable artistic identity through his consistent output and collaborations with numerous models.

Since we have so many of his photographs saved, we’ve decided to split the selection into two installments: one today and another tomorrow. That way, we can take our time enjoying them, as any serious contemporary art exhibition deserves.

SIMON BOLZ 2026. PART TWO

We continue our journey through Simon Bolz’s recent work with a second selection of photographs published over the past few years.

While the previous installment brought his name back to these pages after a long absence, today we can focus directly on what best defines his work: an elegant, suggestive, and visually meticulous way of portraying the female body.

Bolz knows that a good nude photograph doesn’t depend solely on who’s posing in front of the lens. What is merely suggested also matters, along with the model’s attitude, the lighting, and that balance between naturalness and staging that makes every image appear spontaneous, even though nothing has been left to chance.

This second installment completes our selection of his work since 2023 and confirms that, despite the years that have passed since his last appearance on ALRNCN, Simon Bolz still has more than enough reasons to take his place on these pages once again.

COWS AND THE PROGRESS THEY HAVE BROUGHT TO HUMANITY. VOLUME 3

For thousands of years, our ancestors basically lived off whatever they could hunt, fish, or gather. Until, at some point, someone must have looked at certain animals and thought that maybe it was a hell of a lot more practical to keep the food close to home than spend all day chasing it through the wilderness.

The domestication of animals and the development of livestock farming were among those changes that may seem simple from our modern perspective, but helped completely transform the way early societies were organized.

It was no longer just about getting meat. Animals could provide milk, hides, power to work the land, transportation, fertilizer, and could even become a form of wealth. Owning livestock meant having resources that could be maintained, reproduced, and traded.

And among all those animals, cattle eventually came to occupy a particularly important place. For centuries, cows have fed entire populations, helped people work the land, supported rural economies, and accompanied humans throughout practically the entire development of civilization.

It’s curious to think that something as ordinary as a glass of milk, a piece of cheese, or a steak has behind it thousands of years of coexistence between our species and an animal that ended up becoming one of the great silent protagonists of our history.

Generation after generation, humanity kept finding new ways to make use of everything a cow could provide: Meat. Milk. Leather. Labor. Fertilizer.

And just when it seemed that, after all those thousands of years, we had finally explored absolutely every possibility... the 21st century decided to prove that we still had some imagination left.

WHITEPLACE_1. PART ONE

Behind the name Whiteplace_1 (白寺) is an independent Chinese photographer about whom very little biographical information is available. This discretion appears entirely deliberate: there are no grand statements, interviews or many clues about the person behind the camera. Here, the images take center stage.

His work moves between contemporary artistic portraiture, nudity and fetish fantasy infused with elements of BDSM and body art. However, his photographs aren’t intended to document any particular practice, but rather to construct visual scenes in which the body becomes part of a performance.

Ropes, masks, poses, fabrics and various objects help create an atmosphere that shifts between the intimate, the strange and the provocative. Each model seems to be playing a character within a small universe carefully created for the camera.

Today we begin a three-part series dedicated to Whiteplace_1, a photographer who has chosen to remain in the background and allow his models, fantasies and images to speak for him.
