THE EROTICISM OF MAREK JURAS

Marek Juras (1987, Zlín, Czech Republic) is a passionate photographer whose work focuses on the female nude, drawing inspiration from the avant-garde movements of the early 20th century.
He mainly works in a studio environment, where he carefully controls the lighting and every scenic element. For Juras, photography is a personal passion that allows him to experiment with complete freedom.

His work explores the boundaries between the earthly and the cosmic, transforming the human body into surreal forms that sometimes feel almost alien or celestial.
Through a delicate interplay of light and shadow, he blends precision with spontaneity, creating compositions that evoke mystery and wonder.

MARK-MEIR PALUKSHT 2026

I don’t usually keep close track of the photographers I publish on ALRNCN. Mainly because, after all these years, I’ve featured the work of hundreds of them.
Whenever I go hunting for content and come across an interesting photographer, the first thing I do is check whether I’ve already posted their work before and, if so, how long ago that was.

If several years have passed and, more importantly, if they’ve continued sharing new material worth revisiting, that’s usually when I decide whether they deserve a new post or not.

Israeli photographer Mark-Meir Paluksht got his first post here back in the summer of 2014. Since then he’s continued uploading new photos to his social media, so this new entry is a small selection of some of the images he has shared throughout all these years.

There’s something about oopsies that grabs our attention in a very different way from the rest of the content online. And it’s not random. The human brain is wired to react intensely to the forbidden, the unexpected, and that feeling of seeing something you maybe weren’t supposed to see.

Because most of the time it’s not just about the body, the cleavage, or whatever accidentally gets exposed. It’s the context. The moment. That sensation that, for a few seconds, something slipped outside the usual control. An unexpected movement, a reflection, a camera recording a little too long, or a pose that revealed more than intended.

And that’s exactly where that mix of curiosity, surprise, voyeurism, and authenticity kicks in and makes it hard to look away. Because in a time where almost everything online feels calculated, filtered, and perfectly staged, small accidents stand out much more. They feel real. Spontaneous. Human.

The internet has spent years capturing those moments, and we definitely have a weakness for collecting them. Because there’s something incredibly hypnotic about those few seconds when someone goes from being fully in control of the scene… to unintentionally gifting the internet a tiny little oopsie.

POKEMON CARDS

There was a time when Pokémon cards were just for kids. Trading cards in the playground, folders full of plastic sleeves, and endless arguments about who had the rarest one.

They were born in Japan in 1996 and exploded worldwide in the late ’90s. Then, like everything that rises too fast, it seemed like they were starting to fade away… until around 2020 someone opened a drawer, pulled out their old binder, and lit the spark again.
Between nostalgia, influencers, and people showing off their collections online, things got a bit out of hand. So much so that today some cards sell for amounts that could set you up for life without even trying.

But of course, the internet never sticks to just collecting. It always takes things one step further.
Now there’s a new “trend” giving it a different twist: girls placing Pokémon cards on their chest and taking photos. That’s it. No story. No lore. Straight to the point.
