GEORGE PITTS 2026

We’re taking a little trip through the photography of George Pitts (1951–2017), an American photographer, editor and teacher widely recognized for the huge influence he had on editorial and contemporary photography.

About 11 years ago I already invited you to check out his Tumblr, but between one thing and another, a lot of images were left sitting in the drawer. So today felt like the perfect excuse to recover part of that material and also revisit his photographic career, his style, and that very particular way he had of capturing bodies, scenes and moments with a mix of eroticism, naturalness and aesthetics that’s incredibly hard to imitate.

THE ALRNCN MULTIVERSE

The concept of the multiverse is one of those ideas that completely melts your brain the more you think about it. Because, in theory, it means there could be infinite different versions of the same reality. Parallel universes where tiny changes create completely different outcomes. And yeah, that’s exactly where the really interesting mindfucks begin.

Because if there’s a universe where Peter Parker ends up becoming Spider-Man, then there could also be another one where the spider never bit him. Another where it did bite him, but he decided to use his powers to become an influencer instead. Another where Gwen Stacy got bitten. Another where New York is packed with superheroes. And another where heroes are treated like criminals.

That’s the beauty of the multiverse: all those different versions can exist at the exact same time, moving through timelines that are similar, but slightly different. Like reality itself is one endless highway full of alternate exits. In one version you make a decision. In another you miss that train. In another you meet someone. In another you never cross paths with them. And every tiny change creates a completely different story.

The craziest part is thinking that, according to this theory, there could also be different versions of yourself. One where you’re rich. Another where you live in Japan. Another where you never met certain people. Another where you made that decision that still randomly pops into your head at 3AM when you’re trying to sleep.

And of course, if we’re talking about infinite universes, then statistically speaking, some of them have to be way more entertaining than others.
Because somewhere out there, there’s definitely a universe where superheroes stopped saving the planet and simply dedicated themselves to causing collective heart attacks by showing their asses online.
And honestly… considering how the internet works in this timeline, it doesn’t even sound that unrealistic.

THE EROTICISM OF GUENTER KNOP

Guenter Knop began his career in the late 1970s working in the world of fashion and advertising photography in Germany. In the early 1980s he moved to New York, where he worked as first assistant to Henry Wolf, the renowned art director behind Esquire, Harper’s Bazaar and Show.

His work is defined by dramatic lighting and carefully crafted sets, heavily influenced by the Bauhaus, Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements. One of the most distinctive aspects of his photography is his use of non-professional models, people from different backgrounds he met in New York who brought a sense of authenticity, naturalness and a much fresher perspective to nude art.

ADHESIVE TAPE VOL13

Some crazy ideas end up finding their audience no matter how ridiculous they may seem at first.

You see them for the first time and think, "there's no way this is a real thing." But then people start paying attention. Someone pushes the idea a little further. Someone else turns it into a show. And before you know it, what once looked like a late-night joke has its own audience, runway events and even a category of its own.

That's exactly what happened with fashion designs created using adhesive tape.

Let's be honest: if someone had told us twenty years ago that models would one day be walking down runways wearing bikinis made entirely from strategically placed strips of tape, most of us would have assumed they were joking or had just come back from a particularly wild party. And yet, here we are.

Today there are shows, brands, designers and plenty of people following this trend. It's a curious mix of fashion, performance art, body art and that constant feeling of wondering just how far they can push things before something important comes unstuck.

What's even more surprising is that, strange as it sounds, visually it actually works. It feels futuristic, provocative and slightly dangerous, all at the same time.

The main reason we probably don't see these tape bikinis at beaches and swimming pools is fairly obvious: they don't look particularly easy or comfortable to make at home.

Watching a professional model wear one on a runway is one thing. Standing in front of your bathroom mirror with a roll of tape and a dream is something else entirely.

Still, if someone ever invents a version that's easy to apply, comfortable to wear and doesn't remove half your skin when you take it off, I have no doubt we'd eventually start seeing them at hotel pools and beach resorts.

Fashion has a habit of showing up where you least expect it.

AMATEUR FLESH: DARLING_DARING

Darling_Daring, our featured amateur today, knows perfectly well that her photos make people happy.

Happiness is a fleeting thing. It comes and goes. Sometimes it lasts for days, and other times only for a few seconds. Everyone finds it wherever they can, wherever they want, or wherever life allows them to. But she knows —because she's been told countless times— that her boobs tend to have a certain effect on people.

Even if it's only for a little while, they can turn a dull grayscale day into a full-blown explosion of color.
And we're certainly not going to take away any credit for a superpower like that.
