But in Japan or the U.S., it’s a different story: in Japan, a lot of people don’t even use their days because of workplace pressure. And in the U.S.? Paid vacation isn’t even guaranteed by law.

So yeah—when you finally take your days off, enjoy them without guilt. They’re not a luxury. They’re a right people fought hard to get.
