Have you ever seen those places where you can order coffee without getting out of your car and the barista serves you wearing nothing but a bikini? They've been running this particular business model in the United States for years, where the caffeine matters, but it clearly isn't the only reason some customers keep coming back every morning.

A few years ago, we dedicated a post to one of the most famous baristas at Bikini Beans Espresso, a chain that realized you can find coffee on practically every corner, but a bikini-clad barista serving it directly through your car window is much harder to forget.

From there, each barista decides how far she wants to take the experience. Some simply prepare your order, smile, and wish you a nice day. Others, when the customer proves to be generous, seem willing to offer a little more than some extra milk in the coffee.

Because a good tip can considerably improve the service and, at certain places, persuade the barista to put on a little personalized show without you ever having to leave the driver's seat.

The coffee might not be the best in town, but some customers certainly leave feeling wide awake.

WHITEPLACE_1. PART 2

Yesterday we began exploring the work of Whiteplace_1 (白寺), a mysterious independent Chinese photographer who uses the body, fetishism and BDSM aesthetics as tools to construct his distinctive visual fantasies.

In his photographs, the model rarely appears as someone simply posing naked in front of the camera. Every gesture, pose and accessory seems to form part of a carefully staged performance. The body becomes character, setting and language all at once.

The tension of the ropes, the anonymity of a mask and the apparent discomfort of certain positions aren’t there merely to provoke. They also create contrast, introduce an element of mystery and encourage the viewer to imagine what might be happening both inside and beyond the frame.

It is precisely this interplay between beauty, vulnerability and domination that gives his work its identity. His photography can feel sensual, unsettling or hypnotic, depending on how long you decide to keep looking.

The fashion industry sold us leggings as comfortable clothes for working out. For running, training, doing yoga, or going for a walk while pretending that, at some point during the day, you actually intend to set foot in a gym.

But all it takes is a woman with a great ass putting on a pair for all their technical features to immediately become irrelevant.

Because leggings can be stretchy, breathable, thermal, and made using the most advanced technology on the market, but if they hug the body tightly enough, nobody is going to care what the fabric is made of.
